It's been said and heard numerous of times and I say it a lot to people I speak to also. You've probably read it before on my blog as well. I'm talking about this, CHANGE. "Change happens the moment you decide it in your mind and when you take action". For me, I wanted to make a change, however, like the way most of us feel sometimes, I just didn't know what to do. Have you ever felt like that before?
Well, I remember a couple years ago, my mentor at the time said to me, "Tremayne, you need to examine yourself and figure out what are some of the things you like to do, then when you do, figure out what are some goals you would like to achieve. "
So I thought about it and started reading books that were given to me. I always thank God I had the opportunity to meet some successful individuals to provide me with motivational books, books on business as well as CD's to listen to. But why did I do it? you might ask. Well, I did this because my mentor mentioned this to me once (which stuck with me for years), if I wanted to make a change and be successful, I needed to learn from those that have made changes themselves, those who are living out their dreams and those who have become successful doing it, instead of listening to the people who are in the same predicament as I am, not fulfilling their dreams and who are not where they want to be in life. That statement hit me like a ton of bricks.

One of my favourite speakers, as many close to me may know by now, is Zig Ziglar. His famous quote was "You can have everything in life that you want, if you can help just enough other people get what they want." Such a profound quote. I pondered and prayed about it for years, then I realized that this quote really spoke to me. Growing up, I always had a soft heart for people. I tried to make myself available to help my family and friends in any way I could and I loved doing it. For years I did it with close friends, but I knew, deep inside I always wanted to find a way to expand this passion globally. I wanted to be able to help individuals and families. What should I do? This question sounds familiar huh? Yeah i know a lot of us battle with it. I surely did. Well, on another occasion, my mentor said to me , " If you can find or provide a service for people with things that they need, you have found G-O-L-D." I never understood it clearly, but then, it finally became clear after many years. The idea, the opportunity, the concept.... In order for me to provide a service to meet people's needs, I needed to start a business.
Change started, The New Me was created....
What did I start? Well, Zig Ziglar said it correctly... "Money isn't everything, but it's very close to breathing, which is recommended daily." (Oh boy, Tremayne is talking about money now? Money is the root of all evil!!) NO IT'S NOT!!. Money is important. It's the LOVE of it that's the problem. Most of the time, the real reason why many relationships don't work out or why many of us can't truly achieve our goals, is due to financial challenges. It's reality and it's the truth. However, let me clear up that thinking. The truth is, no matter what a person's current situation or economic status is, financial success is achievable. How can I say that? Well, the problem is, as said in the Bible, people are destroyed or perish for their lack of knowledge. There is a serious need for financial literacy in the world today and I realized it, therefore, I knew I needed to find a way to develop a service where I could be able to help educate, build and protect wealth for families and individuals from all walks of life. Before I could begin any of this, I needed to acquire the knowledge and also I needed to ensure I acquired the licenses needed in order for me to be able to help others.
The Businessman, Entrepreneur and Mentor
As I began this process, I first had to get my financial situation assessed, I had to learn about how money worked, and then I received assistance from successful financial professionals to help secure all the things that best fitted my needs. Having acquired the knowledge, then securing myself and my family, I was able to move forward and achieve the licenses I needed to be able to help others. Now, I am able to help educate others in changing their thinking and teach them how to make money work for them.
WOW!!! I did it. I became an entrepreneur. I became a mentor, however, I still knew in order for me to be able to provide the best options for other people to fit their needs, I needed to have a large array of services that could be offered from major companies in the industry. What a plus if I could partner with those companies who would usually deal with the higher-end clientele and I could provide them to others like the middle-class. This would give everyone better opportunities. As big as this was, I knew I couldn't do myself. I needed to have strong support and guess what, I found it.
My cousin introduced me to it and after some intense research, I found this power house company called World Financial Group to be the answer. This company had everything that people needed in order to reach or achieve their goals. I found, as mentioned earlier, the "GOLD!!". Having obtained the support and partnership of such a strong company, I was able to finally become "The Business Man".
What an awesome journey I started. Stepping out and helping as many people as I can to achieve their financial goals has been fantastic. What a thrill it has been to help people dream again. It's not always been easy I'll be honest. There are some people that although I try to provide help, they just don't seem to want it. I always wondered why. I couldn't understand why would people turn down help. Even those that may be closest to you. As I thought about it, I realized, that maybe it's fear, maybe it's embarrassment, maybe people are just uncomfortable talking about money or their finances. It's unfortunate though. I really do hope they realize sooner than later, that they are only hurting themselves.
Truth is, whatever you do now with your life folks... will affect the road to your future.
