Ever Interviewed Your Future? I Decided To.

Who are the 5 people in your life you currently spend most of your time with?

Think about it for a minute.  Look at how you spend your day, week and month.  Who do you communicate with more, who do you meet with more or who do you go out with more?

Then ask yourself this question.  Do they match who you want to become in the future?
These are great questions to really identify your core circle.  Why is it important you might ask?  Well, one of my mentors Zig Ziglar and the famous self-help guru Jim Rohn both put it this way.

1.
VS.
2.

What's the difference between the two?  Nooo, I don't mean two are in a hammock and the other two are in beach chairs.  I mean in terms of their circumstances.

This Will Be The Most Important Post You Will Ever Read

Why Do Most People Tend To Put Off Doing Important Things Now?

Proverbs 27:1 - Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

An interesting question but an easy answer.  It's Procrastination.   We all know that word, but do we understand the definition?  "Procrastination is the practice of carrying out less urgent tasks in preference to more urgent ones, or doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time, sometimes to the "last minute" before the deadline."
Such a true definition.  We've all fallen victim to this.  I fell victim to this as well.  Be honest guys, How many times has someone spoken to you about making a change NOW and you said "I will start from tomorrow".  How many times you felt you needed to call a certain person then you say " Gosh, I will call them tomorrow, too busy now."  Or how about this one, How many times has someone reached out to you to arrange an appointment with you in order to help secure yours and your family's financial future and you respond " Can I reschedule for next week or another time? I have other plans this week."  Have you heard these before?  I sure have.

Ever Thought About It?

Following Jesus implies doing business on Jesus’ principles.

The Lord opens doors for each of us to become avenues of His love and grace on a daily basis.
Man’s rules should never replace God’s requirements.
Trusting God’s providence means we stop trifling with His plans.
Many pray, not to find God’s will, but to get His approval of their own.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
