"Happiness is not pleasure. It is victory." -- Zig Ziglar
There's much truth in the above statement. Happiness, it is safe to assume, is something everybody wants to have. It's true that other people can give you pleasure, but you will never be happy until you do things for other people. Nothing brings us more joy and happiness than doing things for others which increases their enjoyment of life. Incidentally, happiness is not something you can buy with money, though it is true that an adequate amount of money helps us to eliminate some of the things which produce discomfort.

The Problem With Lagging On Opportunities
Being at the right place, at the right time is not enough...you have to decide and act before that small window of opportunity closes on you...
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook invited 5 people to his Harvard dorm room 9 years ago to discuss a business opportunity. Only 2 people showed up and they got in.
Today those two people are billionaires: Dustin Moskovitz $6.5 Billion and Eduardo Saverin $3.4 Billion. "Thinking about it" for too long can cost you a WHOLE lot. Taking action now can earn you a whole lot. It’s your choice, your life, it’s up to you to make a decision. ~ Sean Simmons
Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity. ~ H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Learning- One Of The Foundations For A Successful Life
One of the basics or fundamentals to becoming more, to having more and to doing more is personal development. Personal development requires education and learning. It is about having a Celebration; creating your own unique, only-you-deserve-it-because-you-did-it, one-of-a-kind celebration!
Two Scriptures emphasize this:
Proverbs 1:5 - Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,
Proverbs 18:15 - An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Do You Really Think You Are Ready To Retire? Are You Even Close?
1)How often do you see a financial advisor?
2)When was the last time you had a financial review done?
3)How important is financial security to you?
4)Are you on track to retire comfortably or would you have to work longer than you anticipated?
5)What do you expect will be your primary source of income in retirement?
There are many more questions to be asked, but alot of the wrong answers. This is why I've committed myself to helping people in these areas. Look at this information I gathered below.

Have You Ever Evaluated The People Around You?
It's such a blessing to know I am helping people on the path to achieving their goals. Helping others with their financial goals and dreams is such an awesome feeling. As God continues to help me take baby steps towards my goals and dreams, I continue to learn more and more as I go just by helping others. What's holding you back from achieving your goals? Ever evaluated the people around you? Ask yourselves these questions:
"Who am I around?"
How are they influencing me? negatively and positively?
What do they have me thinking?
How have they got me talking?
How have they got me feeling?
Is that okay?

Why VISION?
You must have Vision in order to have a successful lifestyle. As illustrated above, Vision is the center of it all. Vision ties in with faith. Seeing it before you see it.
I see vision as a combination of:
Value
Inspiration
Spirituality
Imagination
Optimism
Notion

Do You Remember How To Dream?
Do you remember what it feels like to just pause and dream a bit?
Try it.
Close your eyes and take a minute to imagine or dream about something you really realllyyyyy like or would like to do.
Are you finding it a bit difficult to imagine? Why?
Maybe you don't know what to dream about. Maybe the dreams you used to have are no longer a dream or goal anymore. Maybe there are too many things going on in your mind that you can't really zero in on one thing or maybe you simply just can't include another thought.
God created us in such a unique and powerful way, that He wants us to understand and recognize the importance and power of our minds.

Has this happened to you?? You might not even know.
If this doesn't bother you, I don't know what will.
As RRSP season closed and many Canadians are preparing their taxes, a CBC Marketplace investigation reveals that financial advisers at some of Canada’s top banks and firms are giving consumers inaccurate, misleading and inappropriate advice.
This is why it is important to speak with people that you know will genuinely help you.

Afraid Of Making A Change?
What do you plan to do this coming weekend? Will it be the same as you did the previous weekend?
I've found that some people complain about their life, but they have no intention of changing it. I remember Zig Ziglar mentioned this and I found it sad but true. He said " Many people spend more time planning a two week vacation than they do planning their life." If you want to see a change, then you have to make the change.

Security vs. Opportunity
Change you thinking from security thoughts to opportunity thoughts. You don’t achieve financial freedom by playing it safe. You become financially independent by leading the field. This doesn’t mean that you risk your money or throw it around. It means that you are willing to move out of your comfort zone and to try something new and different before everyone else starts trying or doing it. -- Brian Tracy

Ever Thought About It?
Following Jesus implies doing business on Jesus’ principles.
The Lord opens doors for each of us to become avenues of His love and grace on a daily basis.
Man’s rules should never replace God’s requirements.
Trusting God’s providence means we stop trifling with His plans.
Many pray, not to find God’s will, but to get His approval of their own.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
Straight Roads Do Not Make Skillful Drivers
In every field of human endeavor, you learn to succeed by trial and error. You gradually build up a reservoir of experience that enables you to make more right decisions than wrong ones.
You can speed up the necessary learning process bycarefully observing other successful business people, and by copying the very best they have to offer.
