Do You Remember How To Dream?

Do you remember what it feels like to just pause and dream a bit?
Try it.

Close your eyes and take a minute to imagine or dream about something you really realllyyyyy like or would like to do.

Are you finding it a bit difficult to imagine? Why?
Maybe you don't know what to dream about. Maybe the dreams you used to have are no longer a dream or goal anymore. Maybe there are too many things going on in your mind that you can't really zero in on one thing or maybe you simply just can't include another thought.

God created us in such a unique and powerful way, that He wants us to understand and recognize the importance and power of our minds.

So I am going to help you out a bit.
Ask yourself, what if?

What if I decide to set and reach higher goals?
What if I decide to go for my dreams?
What if I can change certain unpleasant things about myself and my finances?
What if I can significantly make a difference in the lives of others?

Think about it for a minute. You may not realize it, but just by thinking about answers and actions to these few questions, a new life begins to evolve. Why? Because of your new vision and possibilities.

John Maxwell said it well, "You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The Secret of your success is found in your daily routine."

That's why it's so important to be around like-minded people. "We become like the people we hang around the most. Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people and you will become more positive." (Zig Ziglar)

Take action in making a change. In my previous post, I spoke on procrastination. Do not allow procrastination to control you. I tend to portray procrastination as a tiny, subtle bug, we sometimes don't even realize it's there. And yes, even the most confident of of us all get bitten by it.

Don't get me wrong, it's great to be confident, but what individuals do not tend to realize is that confidence is an expectation of a positive outcome. It is not a personality trait. It is an assessment of a situation that sparks motivation. If you have confidence, you’re motivated to put in the effort, to invest the time and resources, and to persist in reaching the goal. It’s not confidence itself that produces success, it’s the investment and the effort. Without enough confidence, it’s too easy to give up prematurely or not get started at all.

So the next time you say you're confident, let success make the noise. Just do it.

Be Blessed everyone.
