As I've stepped into the arena of being an entrepreneur/Business owner, I'm continuing to learn how important are certain aspects of healthy business relationships and functionality.
I'm blessed to have mentors around me, who are successful business owners themselves. Continuing to challenge my way of thinking, enabling me to grow and develop a mindset which is conducive to success.
After qualifying for an awesome weekend at the Lake House Mansion of one of my mentors (pictures will follow very soon) , it was reiterated the importance of Team Success. It brings me back to my favourite quote " You can have everything in life that you want, if you can help just enough other people get what they want." As this could be looked at from a salesman to consumer prospective, this can also be look at from a Team prospective.
As I've started a business with my partners, I recognize that business should be good for each partner. This doesn't mean that each person will or should make the same amount of money, but each business partner should be able to make a profit, while at he same time being good people who make sure deals are fair and honourable for everyone involved.
Jim Rohn explains it well. In terms of Business Partners: "producing a profit means touching something and leaving it better than you found it. Each party in a long-lasting business relationship should be able to take home a profit. We should structure our businesses in such a way that will enable us to sustain long-term business relationships."
For the Consumer, Jim Rohn says: "Not only should each person and party understand and know their own value, but the consumer should have a product or service available to them that is one of excellence. There is something inherently good about providing goods and services that are excellent. We should never say, "Well, it doesn't matter if the product is good; they will buy it anyway."
They may buy it anyway, but that doesn't mean it is right for you to sell it. One of the goals of healthy business relationships is to work together to provide value not only for each party, but for the customer as well."
Honouring the value of each business partner, help produce profit for each partner
and create value for each partner and consumer,
are the 3 goals I'm striving to perform.
If you are in business or even if you aren't, these should be the goals
in every aspect of your life.
Be Blessed All. Stay Tune for Pics From The Lake House.
