Ask Your Boss For A 50% Raise....

For the past few months, I've been asking many people how they feel about their job and I've received different answers.  It's either "Yes I Do", "No I don't", "It's oookkkk i guess", just to name a few.  The one question I asked which I found people's answers to be the most common was... "Would you say you are getting paid what you're worth?"

Of course the majority of answers were "No."  When I asked how much more do they think they should be paid.....the answers varied from 20% - 100%.  I found those who loved their jobs thought 20-40% increase would be sufficient, those who didn't like their job, almost all would say 50-100% more.

The fact is, most people believe they should be paid more for the work they do. Why? because they work hard, sometimes doing the work they believed were their boss's responsibility, they stay longer hours at work to complete projects(without O.T)......

I must admit, I used to be one of those too.  I felt I was not being paid my worth.  I didn't need too much but I still felt a 50% increase would make things a lot better for my life and my family's life. Imagine going to ask your boss for a 50% increase.  What do you think would happen? Most companies would only give a 5% increase. So here are some things to think about.

Is there anything riskier than the trap of trusting a corporation who does not care about you? Is it riskier than committing to a job who, even if they don't fire you, will only pay you as little as they can?

You can spend 50 years working for a corporation and if you are lucky...retire with little to no money and be forced to reduce your lifestyle and even be forced to move in with your children, OR you can spend 2 to 5 years building a business who's success is under your control.

You're not going to be rewarded for being loyal to your company. If you are loyal, you'll basically lose money every year as inflation rises and your salary doesn't. Instead, you are forced to constantly find new jobs in an effort to keep from falling behind. (Robert Kiyosaki)

You are worth more than what someone else says you're worth.

If you’re looking for a way to start claiming the future you deserve or you may know someone else who is looking, I’d love to sit and talk more about it and share how the changes and decisions I made have already helped me see my own path more clearly.

I'm sure it can do the same for you.

To Your Success,
Tremayne
