A Fantastic Day / Night To All ,
We're in June!! Hopefully everyone is having great weather and enjoying the bright sunshine outside. It's been busy the past few days, connecting with people, educating them and helping them plan a path to achieving their dreams.
This brings me to #4 on Principles of True Performance by Zig Ziglar. I’ve found alot of people have goals or dreams or had goals and dreams but they have either never done anything to go after it or they just didn’t know how to go after it. Some may hear an encouraging word that motivates them, but the next day, the momentum begins to slow down. Why? A goal without a plan is simply just a wish. Never make a promise without a plan.
Far too many people make promises they can never keep. They may have the best intentions in the world to keep their promise, but if they have not made a plan to keep it, they will not be able to do it. Business leaders who make promises to their employees, employees will not honor them if they do not create a plan on how the promises will be kept. If you make a future commitment, you must understand and be willing to do whatever it takes to complete that commitment. One of the reasons marriage commitments fail so frequently is because the husband and wife do not understand what it takes to have a great marriage. They do not plan for or understand the sacrifices each must make for the other to enable a long-lasting relationship.
My friends, if you don't have a life plan or if you don't know the plan God designed for you, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. It's very easy for that to happen as well. You might not even realize it at the time. When you fall into someone else's plan, as Jim Rohn put's it " Guess what they have planned for you. Not Much." Examine yourself, Believe in yourself and Work on yourself.
"Work Harder On Yourself Than You Do Your Job" - Jim Rohn.
